Registered office: Labs Tower, Foti Pitta 4, 1065 Nicosia, Cyprus
Additional office: Calle Concejo, 13, 37002 Salamanca, Spain

What personal data we collect
Information you provide directly
When you contact us, request a download, reply to a message, or apply for a role, you may give us:
- Identification details such as name, job title, and company.
- Contact details such as email address, phone number, and business address.
- The content of messages, enquiries, project briefs, or CVs you send to us.
- Marketing preferences and consents you give us.
Information collected automatically
When you browse silicondali.com, our hosting infrastructure and analytics tools collect technical information automatically, including:
- IP address (truncated where feasible), approximate geolocation derived from IP, and timestamp.
- Browser type, operating system, screen size, and referring URL.
- Pages viewed, time on page, and aggregate navigation patterns.
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see section 06).
Information from LinkedIn and other third-party platforms
If you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form linked to one of our LinkedIn ads, LinkedIn shares with us the fields you authorise (typically name, work email, job title, and company). If you click a LinkedIn ad and reach a Silicon Dali page, the LinkedIn Insight Tag may share a hashed identifier with LinkedIn for conversion measurement and retargeting (see section 06).
Information we process for client engagements
When Silicon Dali delivers services to a client, we may process personal data on that client's behalf as a data processor under a written agreement. The lawful basis, retention period, and security controls for that data are defined in the engagement contract and the client's own privacy notice. This policy does not replace those contractual terms.
Legal bases for processing
We process personal data under the following lawful bases set out in Article 6 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). Marketing emails, non-essential cookies, and optional data fields rely on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Where you have engaged us to provide services or have started discussions to do so, we process the data necessary to enter into and perform that contract.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). We rely on legitimate interests to respond to enquiries, secure the website, measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and develop our services. Where we rely on this basis, we balance our interest against your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). Some processing is required by law, including tax, accounting, and anti-money-laundering record keeping.
How we use personal data
- To respond to enquiries and provide information you have requested.
- To deliver content you have asked for, including playbooks, guides, and other downloadable resources.
- To follow up on conversations and share related Silicon Dali content where you have consented or where it is in our legitimate interest as a follow-up to your enquiry.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and our services.
- To measure the performance of our marketing campaigns, including LinkedIn ads and related conversion events.
- To recruit and assess candidates for roles at Silicon Dali.
- To comply with applicable laws and to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, security incidents, or other prohibited activity.
Who we share personal data with
We share personal data only with the categories of recipients listed below. We do not sell personal data.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that host silicondali.com and operate our internal systems.
- Email and CRM providers that we use to communicate with prospects, clients, and applicants.
- Marketing platforms, primarily LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company and its affiliates, for the LinkedIn Insight Tag, Lead Gen Forms, and conversion measurement described in section 06.
- Analytics providers that help us understand aggregate usage of the website.
- Professional advisors such as legal, accounting, and tax advisors, where this is necessary for our legitimate business operations or to comply with a legal obligation.
- Public authorities where we are required by law to do so.
- Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business. We will notify affected individuals where the law requires it.
All processors are bound by written agreements that require them to protect personal data and to process it only on our documented instructions.
International transfers
Some of the recipients above are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other safeguards permitted by law. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
Cookies and tracking technologies
silicondali.com uses cookies and similar technologies in two categories.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the website to function. They cannot be disabled in our systems and do not require consent.
Marketing and analytics
We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag across silicondali.com. The tag is loaded asynchronously and may set a cookie in your browser to allow LinkedIn to measure ad performance, build audiences for retargeting, and report conversions back to us. The data shared with LinkedIn includes a hashed member identifier (where available), the URL and timestamp of your visit, your IP address, and basic browser information. LinkedIn acts as a separate controller for the data it processes through the Insight Tag. You can find LinkedIn's privacy policy at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
You can opt out of LinkedIn ad-personalisation in your LinkedIn account settings, and you can block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect parts of the site that depend on them.
How long we keep personal data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes set out in this policy or as required by law. Indicative retention periods are:
- Enquiry and prospect data: up to 24 months from the last meaningful contact, after which we either delete or anonymise the record unless a contract is in place.
- Marketing list entries: until you unsubscribe or otherwise withdraw consent, after which we keep the minimum suppression record needed to honour your opt-out.
- Client and contract records: for the duration of the engagement and afterwards as required by applicable law, typically up to seven years for accounting and tax records.
- Recruitment data: up to 12 months after the recruitment process closes, unless you ask us to keep it longer for future roles.
- Server logs and security records: typically up to 12 months.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag data: retained by LinkedIn under LinkedIn's own retention rules; we retain the aggregated reports as long as they are commercially useful.
Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar data-protection rules, you have rights in relation to your personal data. These include:
- Access. You can ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and to provide a copy.
- Rectification. You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure. You can ask us to delete personal data in certain circumstances, including where it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected.
- Restriction. You can ask us to restrict our processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Portability. You can ask us to provide certain data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint. You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Cyprus this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy). In Spain this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
To exercise any of these rights, email info@silicondali.com. We will respond within one month, or tell you within that period if we need more time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls on internal systems, segregation of duties, and audit logging. No system can be guaranteed to be fully secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and, where required by law, affected individuals.
Children
silicondali.com is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give additional notice such as a banner on the website or an email. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
